I just found your site and LOOOOOOVE is. I am a newbie when it comes to this (just made my first covered last week - fondant cake was really cute!) so I have three questions for you.
First, I made Marshmallow fondant and worked very well for me, and proven gran.Pero I am interested in using black fondant as well.I read here that you should use fondant chocolate. How do?
Secondly, where get their cake plates? Are separate circles below of cakes in turntable cake?
Thirdly, what else do you use fondant for addition of cakes coverage? saw me the demo bow, but there are other uses? what can harden? on the cake that I'm doing now, I want a stand up "G" and wasn't sure if it would be better to make it out of a color or fondant chocolate.?
Thanks in advance for everything what they are doing! This has been such a blessing!

Hi Sarah,
I am very happy that you are enjoying the sitio.Responder your questions:
1. To make fondant chocolate, substitute 1 cup powdered sugar with cocoa polvo.Aparte, follow the recipe as escrito.Esto allows you to use only a small amount of dye food black gel to make black fondant, it does not mean that you bitter after of taste much color food.
2 In general I do my cake plates by reciclaje.Tres four circles or rectangles cut to the desired size, together tape boxes and cover with cloth and clear paper contact, fondant, or any other kind of coating that you like.
3 You can use fondant filling cakes, make tape to be used as boundaries, trim decorations or any type of flower that can be imaginar.TambiƩn can knead a little Tylose, powder to make rubber paste which dries and hardens, making it useful for decorations such as stand up letters you mention.Fondant or rubber paste can also be used for making quilted cake figures (people, animals, etc.).
Good luck.
What is concerned,
